The iconic Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, known as Basketmouth, has announced the upcoming release of his third studio album, “Uburu.” Despite his well-established career as a stand-up comedian, Basketmouth has consistently expressed his deep-rooted passion for music.
Interestingly, even before making his mark in the Nigerian comedy industry, Basketmouth had ventured into music during his university days at the University of Benin, where he pursued studies in sociology and anthropology.
Nonetheless, it’s worth noting that the recently unveiled album “Uburu” is sure to bring immense pleasure to listeners as Basketmouth has collaborated with a roster of talented artists on the album, including Lojay, Victiny, Falz, Perruzi, Duncan Mighty, and Ghana’s Shatta Wale, along with other music heavyweights from across Africa.
