Aspirants: What you should know about UNILAG 2023 Post Utme Exercise

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has commenced the registration process for the 2023 Post UTME exercise which had been slated for Monday, 10th July to Friday 28th July 2023. However, the online post UTME examination will hold from Monday, 31st July to Friday, 4th August 2023.

The main purpose of writing this article is to share basic things you should know about this year’s admission exercise.

The 2023 Post UTME exercise is quite different from that of last year’s as the institution would be conducting an online examination which would be added with candidates JAMB result and O’level result (WAEC and NECO). Recall that for the 2022 Post UTME exercise, no post utme examination was conducted; instead the admission aggregate only comprised the O’level result and JAMB score. For this year, the JAMB result would make up Fifty percent (50%) of the total aggregate, Post Utme examination is allotted Thirty percent (30%) while O'level result is (20%), all making a total of 100.

Meanwhile, the institution would be merging two sets; the 2022 Jambites (already admitted) and the 2023 Jambites to make up for the 2023/2024 academic session which would begin by September.
