German Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich have submitted a new bid to Tottenham Hotspur with the hope of convincing the club to sell their talisman, Harry Kane, this summer.

Earlier, Bayern Munich tried to convince Spurs to sell the club’s all-time highest goalscorer, Kane, by making a €70 million bid which included add-ons.

Unfortunately, Tottenham Hotspur who are expecting nothing less than £100 million for the 29-year-old England international rejected Bayern’s first offer.

Since then, there have been speculations that the German Bundesliga giants are preparing an improved offer.

On Sunday, July 9, Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted that Bayern have submitted their second bid for Harry Kane who has just a season left on his current contract with Spurs.

The new offer is a slight improvement on the first offer. Bayern have increased the offer from €70 million to €80 million including add-ons.

It is now left for Tottenham to react to the new offer as reports in Germany claimed that both Bayern and Kane have already agreed on personal terms which means the England international is ready to make the move.

Recall that two summers ago, Manchester City tried to sign Kane for £100 million but Spurs turned down the offer. Due to that, City turned their attention to Jack Grealish who they ended up buying for £100 million.

Earlier this summer, Manchester United showed interest in buying Kane but Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, claimed he won’t sell the England international to a Premier League rival.

Hence, if Spurs fail to sell Kane this summer, the 29-year-old England international would endure another long season at Spurs and then leave the club for free next summer.
